Liverpool has had two streets called Moore Street. The first named after the Moore family continued into the street where Lord Molyneux had his tithebarn and it was only a matter of time before the medieval Moor Street became known as Tithebarn Street. The later Moor Street  was an alley leading off Fenwick Street that was developed by Edward Moore in 1665.
